Biography
John Baker is one of the Founding Partners of Baker | Moran. He also serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. Super Lawyers has recognized John as one of the top rated eminent domain attorneys in Texas. John represents electric utility companies and pipeline companies in all facets of right of way acquisitions, including eminent domain matters, easement review, due diligence, and contract negotiations. John also represents select landowners in eminent domain proceedings. With the great demand for energy infrastructure in Texas, clients have also looked to John for representation in commercial real estate transactions, including the purchase and sale of real property for, among other things, gas processing facilities and electric substation facilities.
